Summary
The speaker cleaner, speaker sound test and tone generator run entirely in your browser. They don’t use your microphone, don’t record audio and don’t send anything to our server. We don’t sell personal information.
Who we are
This website is PhoneSpeakerCleaner.org. You can reach us at junaid.khan829.jk@gmail.com.
Data the tool stores on your device
The tool saves two small values in your browser’s local storage, which stays on your device and is never sent to us:
- psc_theme: your light or dark mode choice.
- psc_runs: how many cleaning cycles you have run, shown as “Cycles run here”.
You can delete them at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings.
Information collected when you visit
Like almost every website, our hosting provider’s servers automatically log technical information when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are kept by the host according to its own retention policy.
We use a page-caching system (LiteSpeed Cache) to make the site load faster. It doesn’t track you.
Comments and emails
If you leave a comment on a guide, WordPress stores the name, email address and comment text you enter, and your IP address, to display the comment and help prevent spam. If you email us, we keep your message and email address only to reply and to follow up on corrections.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to see, in aggregate, how many people visit, which pages they read, roughly which country they’re in and what kind of device they use, so we know which guides are actually helping. Google receives a shortened form of your IP address and data about the pages you view; it doesn’t receive anything from the speaker tool itself, and we’ve switched off Google’s advertising features, so nothing is used to show you ads. Google’s own privacy policy explains how it handles that data.
If you’re in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, analytics cookies are switched off by default, and Google only receives basic, cookieless measurements that can’t recognise you on a later visit. Elsewhere, Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_* that last up to two years. You can block them in your browser settings or with Google’s opt-out add-on.
Cookies
Apart from the analytics cookies described above, the site doesn’t set any advertising cookies. WordPress only sets functional cookies if you leave a comment (to remember your details, if you choose) or log in. If we ever add advertising, this policy will be updated before that happens, and any consent that’s needed will be asked for.
Links to other sites
Our guides link to manufacturer support pages and other references. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit them.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing the address above. Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR may give you further rights.
Children
The site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
We’ll update the date at the top of this page when the policy changes.
